My Clinique Facial Routine

Lately I've been pretty uninspired to blog. I mean I wanted to write to you, but I just didn't really know about what. So I figured it's better to have a little break than blogging about some trivial stuff.
Today I thought about blogging again, because I really hated that break.
So, I thought about all my options and thought that a lot of teenagers (I'm included if you don't know me) have to fight with acne and bad skin. I figured that my daily facial routine does a fairly good job, so I want to share my favorite products with you.

3-step anti-blemish solutions

1st step: Pump dispenser about 2-3 times. Massage gently over wet skin, avoid your eye area. Then rinse it off. Use this anti-blemish solutions cleansing foam in the morning and in the evening.

2nd step: Sweep it over your face with a soft cotton pad. Repeat every morning and evening.

3rd step: Apply a thin layer of the anti blemish solutions moisturizer also in the morning and evening.

Where to get those products?

If you're living in Austria you can either get them at Douglas or Marionnaud. Also a lot of smaller parfumeries do have those products.

If you live outside of Austria, I will link some web sides where you can order them.

Thanks for reading and I wish you a nice sunday!

Feeling the sun

OMG. The last week was so amazing, everyday it has been like 25° C or even more. Unfortunately I didn't really wore like "nice" clothes last week, and also I was, to be honest, not really motivated, but now I'm back with full energy.

Today I spent my afternoon with some friends at a river bar which opened again like two days ago I think. We always love to spend our days at the river, especially my best friend Anna and I. It's pretty cool there and it always feels like summer.

To "celebrate" our sunny day, I chose to wear an all white outfit. I love the different textures of the skirt and t-shirt. When it got a bit colder I just threw over my favorite parka, and off I went.

I was wearing:

Zara T-shirt
Hollister skirt
Urban Outfitters parka
H&M ballerinas
My mom's vintage bag, which she gave me as a present
blue bracelet from Spain

Spring Walk

Today I'm in such a good mood, and I hope so are you? It's so beautiful to see all the flowers growing. I think there's no time of the year that could be more beautiful than spring!
In spring I also love that you can wear more clothes than in summer but less than in winter, so you can create a good middle basis, which I like a lot. But I think one of the best things in spring is that you can wear ballerinas! :-))

I wish you a nice rest of the week! Thanks for reading! ♥

I was wearing:

Total Zara look

It's Banana Shake time!

Hey, long time no see, and therefore I'm really sorry, but  I've been so busy studying and stuff the last couple of days.
So, because of today's occasion (spring finally reached austria) I thought I would post an amazing recipe for a banana shake (mmmmmh!).

Ingredients for 2 or 3 people (or just for one, if you're feeling hungry and you don't want to share) :

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 big spoons of vanilla ice-cream
  • some milk (how much depends on how liquid you want your shake)
So what you wanna do is:
  1. Mash and freeze the 2 bananas
  2. When they're frozen chuck them in a blender with the other ingredients!
And blend that shit up!

If you want to you can also freeze your shake longer and you'll get ice-cream! :-)

It tastes amazing and is also healthy, so go take your 20 minutes and get into the spring/summer mood!

See you soon,

xoxo Kathi

Explination-Time

New York - Empire State Building
Today's post is going to be something else. I want to explain something about my last post. Normally I'm not the kind of girl that walks out with a mini skirt at zero degrees outside. Seriously, I mean i like skirts, but not in winter. What I want to say is: right now I'm trying to figure out who I am and who I want to be. Which girl isn't curious of trying new styles and outfits? I'm just fifteen, so I don't really know who I want to be. Maybe it's weird that I'm telling you that now, but I want you to know, that I'm not like trying to be good enough. I know I make mistakes, wrong decisions - but in the end I'm learning from them, and I guess that's what I want to tell you, don't be afraid, everything happens for a reason, also mistakes.
For a short time I forgot why I began to write my blog, not to copy a famous fashion blogger, but for me to expand my character and my style and that not in way you can see on an other blog, but in my own way and with my own style. The 2nd reason why I started my blog was because I wanted to make something more with my life, which now sounds a bit weird but okay, what I want to say is, I wanted and I still want to, share some parts of me with you guys, and I also like to have my blog as my little online fashion-diary.
The reason why I don't feel ashamed for my (maybe) wrong decisions is because I want to show you the real me, and I think everybody should be able to show who they really are.
Maybe it's weird for a fifteen year old girl to love designer labels and faux fur coats, but to be honest, I don't really know what's normal and what's unusual.
So with those things being said, I guess it's enough information about the person I am.
Thanks for reading!

Spring-Essentials

Hello everyone! I wish you a happy easter and hope that you and your family have a nice day!
For today's post I thought about my "Must-have's" for spring and the transition to summer. I'm always interested in seeing what others suggest and like, that's a really good help I think, so I hope my list will also be helpful for you! :-)
I wish you a nice and pleasant day!

xo, Kathi

1. A well fitting Trench-Coat: it's such an classic piece, which isn't just IN for like one season, a trench-coat is always IN.
At the end of the 19th century it was designed by Thomas Burberry. I think I don't have to mention that it is one of the most convenient item of clothing.
There are so many kinds of Trench-Coats, some are short, some are long, others are with leather applications. But then there are the "original" trench-coats, which are simply amazing.

2. Boyfriend jeans: you can pair them with heels, booties or sneakers. They always look great and are really figure flattering.

3. High-Waisted shorts: they are so edgy and you can style them up and down. They are just amazing for spring and summer.

5. Knit Pullover: In spring the nights are still not too warm, so everybody needs a cozy knit pullover.

6. Sandals: Every girl loves shoes, right? So what could be more important than finding the right spring sandals? The best choice when it comes to spring sandals would be a neutral color, so you can still have the more colorful colors in summer! :-D
